The Katadyn Combi water purifier (without tap) turns bacterially contaminated water into safe healthy drinking water with a natural taste.  It is effective against Bacteria, protozoa, cysts and reduces chemicals when carbon is used.  Ideal for home back-up, trekking, traveling, or expeditions.

The Katadyn Combi water purifier produces safe, portable drinking water.  It does not require any boiling process or chemical additives. The Katadyn Combi water purifier (without tap) incorporates two operating modes:  0.2 micron ceramic, or activated carbon/ceramic combined.  The first operating mode is used to treat turbid contaminated water.  The second operating mode is filtered water through activated cabon granulate.  The activated carbon cartridge will reduce chemicals including chlorine and iodine, herbicide and pesticides.  It also eliminates unpleasant odors and returns the water to its natural taste. The water is softened by removal of the hardness, minerals, calcium, and magnesium, normally considered beneficial in water for drinking and food preparation.  It removes all Bacteria and Protozoa which evolve, producing safe portable drinking water.
